Who or what is Boojitsu:    Kiel MacDonald, also known as Boojitsu, is a solo-musician who was born and raised in California. Kiel grew up being called "Mr. Boo" and eventually took on the name Boojitsu. This name could translate from Japanese to something along the lines of "The way of Boo" or "The style (or form) of Boo". The name stuck and everyone from friends, family, and now even strangers know Kiel as Boojitsu. As for the 21 in Boojitsu21, maybe one day he'll really tell us what it means.

The Beginnings:    Ever since he was young, Kiel has been involved in music. He did the normal music path of doing musicals, garage bands, and the like. After becoming a Christian and hearing what was playing on most Christian radio stations, Kiel wanted change. He wanted to bring something new, diverse, and fresh to the general Christian music market and so he created the Boojitsu21 music project. Ever since that point, Boojitsu21 has been an effort to create meaningful, unique, and memorable music to put a kick into Christian music.

The Road So Far:    Boojitsu21 has recorded two full albums, been nominated for a 2006 Los Angeles music award, played a slew of shows, and is looking to continue his career in music. This path may lead to big things or to dead ends; either way, Boojitsu21 is enjoying the ride and stoked that he has the opportunity to worship God through music and art.
